What happens after I sign up?
Beginning with the next flag holiday after your subscription is confirmed, Scouts will place a flag and stand near your mailbox or driveway. Flags are typically placed two days before each holiday and will be collected the day after each holiday. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR FLAG by 5 p.m. - two days before the holiday - please contact us.
How much does the flag subscription cost?
The cost for one flag placed at your house on all six holidays is $40.00. You can order multiple flags, if you wish. Please note: A $1.99 convenience fee is added to online credit card payments.
The US flag code states that the flag should be properly illuminated. Is a light provided for the flag?
No, but you are more than welcome to place a light on the flag. Solar lights work well. You may also take the flag inside at night, if you wish, but please make sure it is back out the morning after the holiday for retrieval by the Scouts.
What happens if I move?
If you are moving to another home in Anchorage, please contact us and we will transfer your service. If you are moving outside of Anchorage, we will continue the service for the new homeowners for the duration of your one-year subscription.
What if my flag or stand is damaged?

I didn't receive my flag. What do I do?
If you have NOT received a flag by 5 p.m. - two days before the holiday - please contact us.
What happens if the weather is supposed to be bad?
Safety is our first concern. If inclement weather is forecasted, flag placement may be delayed. Our flags are durable and waterproof flags, and are therefore permitted to be out during bad weather. You may also take the flag inside, if you wish, but please make sure it is back out the morning after the holiday for retrieval by the Scouts.
How do I renew my subscription?
You will receive a reminder email before your subscription expires.
